If you own a pressure tester kit, it should have...

If you own a pressure tester kit, it should have an adapter to put cap on one end & tester on other,,,then pump it till it releases pressure...only will take a pump or 2....be sure it goes up to or...

Ensure that you have the proper cap in the proper...

Ensure that you have the proper cap in the proper place...normal looking radiator cap goes on reservoir & flat cap to engine.
Also may want to pressure test cap to make sure it holds proper pressure...
