Did they dis-mount the tires from old wheel's & mount them on new ones? if yes...speak to the owner...i've seen this kinda shotty work on both car & heavy truck tires.

You gotta use quality lube & have a little patience, while mounting/dismounting tires,,,this was total recklessness!

Spare is fine w/spacer,,,i'd ensure your valve stem isn't leaking (around nut or schrader valve) and hopefully tech. didn't tear bead when tire was removed.
I've seen "Cowboy's" on the tire machine...
