Not 100 %sure but I think when the compressor seized the serpentine belt was really struggling to spin and I think it caused a minor Frey. I don't know but I think the smoke was from the car trying...

Yea the belt started to Frey but I was in my driveway when it happened and cut the car off immediately. Smoke was coming from the exhaust. Getting it towed to the shop on Monday morning.

Weren't you the one who said you didn't have to use the lines that came with the radiator? They told me that the lines did not jive with the OEM lines so they had to fabricate to make things fit....
