Ok, maybe it's not the extra weight that's the issue, but certainly there's increased drag with the wider tires.

All I know is the car feels slower to me. Not massively but, noticeably...at least...

On a stock Z, that's a lot of added weight & drag.

You should know that unless you're modded and/or boosted, you'll notice that your Z will be slower with over size tires.
