I'd honestly rather have Nissan discontinue the Z and focus solely on the GTR vs a half assed attempt for the z35 that is intentionally handicapped to keep its performance distant from the GTR

Not $50k starting. $50k nicely optioned maybe $38-40k starting which still makes it a budget. Even today you won't find a $29k Z, and most want the sport package anyhow.
