Yes, but it's dependent on the business if they pass it along. I charged $10,000 last year for a payment on the venue for my wedding because I wanted the reward points. No charges.

I hate car payments too. I was offered 1.5% so I financed it. With such a low rate, I would only pay around $300 in interest if I stuck it out the whole term. I'll probably just pay it off next year...
