No VDC works just fine with mine. It may actually be squelching the power down abit to keep the tires from spinning. Z has been very stable on all kinds of road surfaces and weather.

5th Gear: 375.7 Rear Wheel HP, Torque 300.8

I was told to get Engine HP divide by .8

4th: 440 HP
5th: 470 HP
