Five maps available - I'm living with one...

How many of you make use of multiple maps? I left with five new maps.

1) Performance
2) Stock
3) Fuel economy
4) Valet mode (3500 RPM); apparently doubles as "launch control"
5) Anti-theft
...

Yep, Dynapack hubs...

Sure, that's one way to look at it. I really tried to say all of this up-front (it's in my first couple posts). I didn't want this to become a "max HP on the dyno contest".

We can agree that...

Personally, I liked the fangs. Someone said "catfish", but that sounds like envy to me. It really says GTFO. Anyhow, I really dig LEDs too, and agree that the 2013 is more subtle. My base coupe...

Just under a week from the time we dumped my ECU. I hear that they figure about a week for a new ECU variant. I'm impressed, all around. UpRev did their part, and they guys at Church did theirs. ...

For reference, Shawn's 6MT G37 puts down 338 WHP with the same mods, on the same dyno. Frankly, I thought that sounded high and hoped to have about that much gain. We used the same base maps and...

Hey guys, this isn't an HP contest -- I was measuring the impact of my tuning change. That change was still significant, no?

FWIW, I saw plenty of other cars put down much lower #s on the same...

XM or Sirius Work Great (same company now, too!)

Well it's quite different than cell reception. This is low-power RF that relies on a clear view of the sky. All of the continental US is covered fine. I have literally listened to the same...

...with rear view camera!

You'll really enjoy it. I intend to add an all-weather low-lux backup camera, too. That HU really does a ton of things quite well.

I also wanted to note that you can get either an XM or Sirius...

Catch you next month...

OK, I'll look for you then. I have a fair bit of international travel planned over the next couple months but will do my best to hook up with you guys. Until then, I may see some of you cruising...

First time w/Poutine!

Thanks, I'm having fun!

Also, I just had my first "poutine experience". I'm guessing that makes you Canadian (somewhere on the eastern side!). :)

Oddly, Long Beach has a place with Oxtail...

Today? Long Beach Town Center?

Sure, that sounds great. Is that on today? If it's still Long Beach Town Center, I know the spot -- and used to see a lot of 350s around! Same deal?

I have a BBQ this afternoon, but could swing...

Curious Throttle Setup, too...

It was only obvious to me after Shawn pointed it out, but maybe you guys may already know this, too.

The 370Z won't use full throttle <2500 RPM regardless of what amount of throttle is programmed!...

Results not typical?

I'm less focused on the peak #s than the area under the curve. I can really feel the change in the torque curve. It's quite a big gain in the mid section.

We all know how dyno #s work, this...

UpRev w/Shawn Church (Church Automotive)

My Z spent a few hours at Shawn's place in Wilmington yesterday, 9/1. It's only my second time there, but I can tell you they know their cars! Shawn has a VQ37VHR (G37) and my base tune really...

Hello from Los Angeles!

After several weeks of deliberation, I finally picked up my new 2013 370Z 6MT (base coupe). Like many of you, I seriously considered the FR-S/BRZ, Cayman, and others. In the end, I was made a great...
