That's not a bad unit at all. Kenwood's have a wealth of audio adjustments, and no one else has Garmin Nav.

Having said that personally I would trade off the volume knob in a second for a unit...

There were some Pioneer headunits that allowed you to bridge the rear channels to run an efficient sub, but what you are considering is a good way to smoke your headunit.

That capacitive screen is worth every penny and I couldn't imagine going back to a resistive screen.

Even still, the 5000 is a hell of a HU and a good recommendation.

I believe with that set up you don't connect at both ends:it's one or the other. If you hook it up HU side it gets connected to your HU's switched power, which in turn means the camera will come on...
