I'm pretty sure it is straight but I'll take some more pictures. The thing is already rattling again so I'm guessing I need some lock-tite or some rubber to put in between the latch and the screws...

Here is a picture. I removed the black plastic that is covering the torx40 bolts holding the latch/loop on and tightened them down. No more rattle!
