Do you have a fuel regulator and return system, you not suppose to loose that amount of pressure, your pressure should be solid, I have a boosted car and had a lot of problems with pressure and I fix...

I did that as I am boosted and using a walbro 485lph pump the factory cable did not had enough power and my fuel pressure drops at 7000 rpm on the dyno after couple runs, its good idea for boost...

Topgun A2A is the way to go, then you can do impeller and pulley, also make sure you have oil cooler and test pipes with wide band fittings for the gauge, work like a clock.
