Aw, darn. I just found out that the instrument gauge cluster for the base trim does not have gear number display. I really don't know how troublesome it would be to detach the top lid of the trip...

I think we all have to be honest with ourselves here. Chances are, we won't see a Z35 or R36 concept any time soon. It may be 2 or 3 years until we see one.

A couple of other solutions without replacing the entire gauge cluster:

One solution might be to scratch away the entire film and have a tint shop apply a tint film on it. Might be worth a try.
