There does not seem to be much of a response for this run. Is there another forum where people are confirming attendance. I just have a few questions.

Went to Irwindale 1/8th mile last week

As a follow up to my quarter mile racing I went to Irwindale 1/8th mile last week. The temp was perfect about 68 degrees at night. My car is still completely stock but my Nismo S tune and K&N Drop...

Wish you were closer

I am in Southern California so the shipping from your location would be close to 200 dollars. I guess that rules me out. I am guessing it is off a Nismo rather than an S Tune Correct

Why front facing only

I realize this it is not ideal to put a baby seat of any kind in a sports car but what we know is the 370Z has a weight controlled auto off for the passenger air bag that shuts it off if the...

Weather update

It looks like there is little interest in this event. The weather report for Saturday looks to be 95 degrees. I am going to pass on this one due to the weather

A few tips

Marco:

These cars have many aluminium parts and will bend way before they break. I had the exact same thing happen to my 05 Steeda Mustang GT. The best chance to have a car that is still true is...

Decent day at the track with my completely stock 370Z automatic. The temp in Fontana was hotter than I thought it would be at about 80 degrees. The bite was fair but not great.

I was happy to get...

Wow thats poor

Just saw a stock Zr1 on a drag radial run a 11.1 @ 132. For 106k it is the king of fast. If chevy had just added another 10 grand to the price and threw in a high tech automatic to smooth the car out...

Better Players ?

I keep hearing from the sports commentators that cleveland has better players and a better team than Boston. I just don't get that analogy

Upgrade ?

I realize the Bridgestones are not the best bang for the buck tire. However, I do not see the Hankooks as an upgrade. They are a better value but I would be surprised if there was not a slight drop...

I have heard of exhaust getting louder as they break in but quieter is not something I am aware of. Is it possible the sound has not changed but you are getting use to it.

Have you ever heard of...

Nice run

I watched the video and that was a great session. Your fast lap was only 7 tenths off the motortrend test driver. No wonder you were catching the red Exige and Cayman S. The 370Z beat the Cayman S by...

Camaro SS

Both Camaro SS were Automatics so they were based on the 400 HP not the 426 of the manual.

My friends with Intake and Exhaust is a loaded model so I would not be surprised if it tips the scales...

That will work perfect

You will even be able to use it for some autox events but you would have to check with the director at the event. Glad to hear you did not have to spend to much.

See ya at Carls Jr.

Come on down I'm sure a few passes in 70 degree weather won't stress the car at all.

Post here if you are going to go so some of us meet you at the Carls Jr. in Fontana.
