i'm thinking the same way. imo, by offering the sedan version, it actually dilutes the G37 nameplate a bit.

i don't plan to mod extensively on either choices. i'm more interested in which one is better suitable for daily driver. Evo gets horrible gas mileage for a 2.0 liter motor, at least the Z gets...

anyone cross shopped EVO X before bought the Z?

EVO's biggest advantage is having two more doors, but i just don't trust their motor and tranny, Z has a much longer and better track records. any thoughts?

thanks for the replies. how's the real life gas mileage around town? according to fueleconomy.gov it's better than the EVO X and even slightly better than my wife's new TL 3.5
