No, the convertible does not have run flat tires. It has a KIT!! with rubber plugs, glue and an air pump you plug into your AC. Can you imagine in the dark fumbling with the kit?! In 15 minutes...

Well, in regard to why we let someone else drive it from the distant dealer rather than trailer it, I trusted the dealership that these were two old guys who wouldn't abuse the car, and the warranty...
