Is that CF or FRP? I know you stated CF, but looks like FRP (kind of a blury pic). Also, what rep brand is it?

ME I'll take it, PM'd

alfonso5110 08-10-2013 01:24 AM

Why would you state that the bumper is ready for paint??? You just said it was CF? Since when do you paint CF?

ka24king 08-10-2013 01:25 AM

This thread already smells fishy lol

Most people do. Such a large piece looks weird all black if your cars not black. And lots of CF parts aren't clear coated right and will turn yellow in the sun. Even seibon yellows. Paint protects it.

And unless something was done...those aren't the same bumper. One CF, ones not.

Oh... Didn't know that lol. Cuz usually I only see these parts (CF parts) on black or white cars so never actually seen them painted. Thx for the info

I could be wrong, but the pic he posted of his bumper and not the sponsor pic looks like its just dusty. You can see what looks like handprints on the crossbar near the fog light. He did say that it had been sitting there for months, so that could explain it.

BrandonSS 08-10-2013 11:03 AM

OP, if you are selling one... dont use a stock photo and save the questioning by simply posting a picture of the item you have with a hand written username and date in the picture.

Jay_BJJ 08-10-2013 11:43 AM

To answer all the questions the bumper is all carbon fiber. We were gonna paint the bumper before installing it, that why it looks black all around it. Im gonna post more pictures in a few!!

Jasonle 08-10-2013 11:45 AM

make sure post pictures with your username with the bumper! Glws

I might agree with that except the tires on the left, wheel on the right, and dolly all are in the same place. Not to mention the same stickers on the dolly torn in the same place. Unless his bumper was the one used in the sponsor's thread....

I have asked this guy a few times for pics of the bumper with his name and date in the pic, he's sent me pics of the bumper from a few different angles but no name and date and hasn't responded since then. This thing also has a fair amount of work that needs to be done to it (scratches, dings, excess material) so its not "perfect condition" as was originally stated.

Just an FYI to everyone involved. I'm still interested pending the afore mentioned pics with info in them, the blemishes I can deal with for the right price.

Thanks Huck for letting everyone know.

Since I see I was ignored at the request of what everyones been asking?

I advise everyone to HOLD OFF until there is proof the Op has the item in his possetion since link to photos are not doing any good.

Op,

Once again a Pic or Pics with your username with a date and the forum name? Is the only way this is moving forward.

Anything less and this will be removed and you will NOT be allowed to have access to the classifieds.

Im ONLY asking for pics in this instance

Jay_BJJ 08-11-2013 02:35 AM
