Let's stop accusing the guy just yet and have Darkjak confirm it and I think he still has the paypal option. If memory serve, I did communicate with him on the Brakes sale and seems legit. Sometimes, we need to just wait it out a bit and not let our expectation of instant gratification trumps the delay that is reality.

I agree somewhat. Right now it just looks suspicious, but still can be explained. Life gets hectic sometimes, and things happen. He needs to contact the buyer and put his mind at ease. If he ends up trying to run a scam, WOW will have him wishing he hadn't soon enough.

I wouldn't be expected to wait if I spent 3500 dollars is all i'm trying to say! This isn't no 100 dollar part. This is big money!

For the record, I've only sent half so far $1800. I was going to send the other half as soon as I got pics but that still hasn't happened yet of course.

I'm not here to stir the pot:stirthepot:, but I can tell you this. He was very responsive in terms of communication and pictures for the brakes sale.

Though his way of communicating through private messages may seem unprofessional, (u, ppl, lol, etc) his shipment arrived, along with countless pictures through emails.

I see he is in vegas? Not sure why he is not responding but I would assume he is caught up in his life.

I really hope he gets everything right for the buyer (pictures, communication, etc). :confused:

At the end of the day, I would suggest the buyer to wait for his reply and if the communication is not happening, then refund it though paypal.

:iagree: good practiceswould be to send what I call a hey how are ya? letter/notice just to state the latest action i.e. money received or status updates etc...... takes maybe 2 mins even in email after you get the paypal email saying "hey you got money" :ugh2::ugh2::ugh2:

hospital, jail, or dead are the only three excuses not to be responding by now. i hope none of those are the reason, but $1800 is no small change for me...

+1 on asking for detailed pictures, this is totally offtopic from this thread but I once impulsively bought the item that i wanted and later got surprised for the condition, even tho it was told "fixed" but i was expecting a little better condition. but oh well its too late to regret my ignorance. haha

No, he hasn't replied through PM or email. Nothing. I've definitely given him more than enough time to do so, and it's been almost a week since his last reply, plus still no pics (of course).

I just filed a PayPal dispute so maybe he'll respond under that.
I've never had to go through this process before, but as I understand it, if I don't get a response, I then escalate it to a Paypal claim and that's where Paypal reviews the case and issues the refund.

Yeah, it's been long enough with no contact to release the hounds.

I've never had to do this before. When I move from a Paypal dispute to a Paypal claim, how much info do I need to put in there? Just say that the buyer stopped communication and hasn't sent pics, contact info, or of course the product and thus appears fraudulent?

Oh dang, that's intense. Unfortunately (fortunately for him), I never got his address. Hyunsoo may have since he actually got a BBK from the guy, and I'm trying to see if he wrote down a return address on his package.
