All I can say is wow, I MEAN WOW! This was such a great read while killing time doing laundry. Kudos to everyone involved with owning this guy! I hope someone can keep us in the loop as to Kris' future residence. Big props to hyunsoo! You score some pretty serious karma credit man! That was the point of having this thread stickied... That and serving as a warning to potential scammers.

Edit: Also I don't think he is/was very good at what he does. He was caught almost instantly (here) and ruined pretty quickly. He didn't make any effort to conceal his identity and couldn't resist the urge to engage with people trashing him here - which ended up drawing more attention to himself.

I had a whole thing typed up here about how he could have gotten away with it but then realized I'd be providing a boilerplate for people to do this in the future so...yeah.

Funny thing.... I asked hyunsoo1803 in the Amuse thread to let me know if he was ever in Calgary, so I can check out his car. I had a thought of offering him a place to stay if he ever came to town, but then I thought "he could be a drug addicted, serial killer/rapist, I better not".

Well after reading this thread - hyunsoo1803 you can stay at my house anytime you want.

So if police recovered the car and returned it, is it safe to say he is in custody? Would be great if the ugly f*ck was gettin up the you know what by now.

I would say it's extremely likely that he was arrested :)

Im talking to the owner who got the car back and seriously considering the 350z for 8K.

Blown head gasket though and the 350 has no resale value at all. On the other hand you could take care of that awful color and potentially send Kris pictures of it so there's that.

Edit: also if you're already in ouch with the guy, ask him if he knows what happened to Kris.

Offer $4k for it. (atleast check KBB, and offer that price)

for 8K, yes it has known head gasket failure.

but the car is a freshly (puke coloured) painted Z, with a TT kit, and alot of great supporting mods. Original owner claims 40K in build receipts.

almost worth more in parts.

Im not a Z guy, but owned a few skylines.

Im flying up to calgary to check this car out. Any words of advice on these cars? besides the blown headgasket, whatelse should i be looking for.
