If anyone has purchased one, could you tell me where you got the best price from?

MJB 06-30-2013 09:21 PM

Did you end up checking the dealership?

Trilitheum 06-30-2013 11:05 PM

I did, their price was way out to lunch.

Still looking, anyone parting out any Nismo's?

DivZero 08-04-2013 08:16 PM

Why do you want this? As far as the shop I worked at could tell, it didn't do anything.

Trilitheum 08-04-2013 08:24 PM

I put the front one on and it made a noticeable difference.

Looking to complete the set and put the rear on as well.

can you describe in a bit of detail the difference the front damper made?

Oh and just for S+Gs the price the stealership quoted you for them?

Hi, I found it made the car settle quicker when going around corners if there were any bumps in the road. In a straight line it made less of a difference but it did appear to make the car feel more solid going over a rough section on my daily commute. It's not a blow your doors off difference, but I did notice it and was an improvement for me. I am in Canada so my numbers are going to be skewed, but here they wanted $950 just for the damper, no brackets. I believe the US dealers are less than half that.

I am currently looking for the matching rear one to see if it makes any additional improvement, but it has been hard to find.
