OP, the howling noise is probably because the back lash isn't set correctly. Nothing to do with the Quaife diff. I had the same diff and 4.08 gears installed on

Nothing to do with the Quaife diff. I had the same diff and 4.08 gears installed on my 350z. I had a slight howling noise above 80mph. __________________ 09 Nismo #0483 sold. Viper or C7 next time around.
