370z GTM Stage 1 Supercharger Kit (Turn Key) Cheap Cheap
I'll simply buy all replacement parts and sell the kit as a whole.
Happy children? |
:ugh2: " The supercharge is locked up but may be covered under warranty " please elaborate on this. Maybe post a little history on the kit... Numbers, problems ect.

So just to confirm... You need the power steering relocation kit, new walbro pump and a supercharger? It's " maybe " covered under warranty? I'm pretty sure a used forced induction kit doesn't carry a transferable warranty.

You will need a power steering relocation kit (lines and fittings), walbro pump, and supercharger compressor to complete the kit. If your not interested in the kit, then please stop cluttering up my for sale post. I am being very straight forward and honest about everything. |
Maybe I was interested in the kit and wanted clarification. :shakes head: You're asking 3500$ for a used kit with problems. You've listed missing and broken parts totalling or exceeding 2,000$.
Sorry for the umm... clutter :wtf2: |

fuel pumps are $89, those fuel lines are less then $150. The supercharger replacement can be had for $1500, and it very well could be covered under warranty. I have the warranty paperwork, just haven't had time or motivation to send off. |

i will buy this kit if you can give me exact cost on what needs replaced. not estimates. i need to know what exactly is missing from the kit, and what needs replaced so i can have a total of what it would cost me.. your price is tempting but only if the cost of the replacment parts isnt to much..
|
also maybe someone from gtm can post in this thread and give us a idea of what is needed for this kit to be functional again...

GLWS!!! Bump for honest seller, and priced to sell as is. Even with full replacement of the parts, Buyer would save $1,500+ if not more.
|
sent you an email - chat with me on gmail bud
|
OP: you should try and get the blower replaced under YOUR warranty first then sell the kit for more money with a working blower.
|
I've been keeping an eye out and waiting for this thread, took over a year but here she is, I am going to give the op a chance to come clean about his kit, I dont post much but in the interest of looking out for my fellow Z's and loosing over $250 in return shipping to his F*****G P.O. box, I CAN'T LET THIS ONE GO. so, neveucd you say honest seller? let see some honesty before I open this big a** can.
FYI: new rotrex c38 is $2,195 via GTM, and p/s bracket alone is $199+ |
Sounds like a basket of snakes to me!:shakes head:

damn.

I had a feeling. That's why I was asking him to reiterate and clarify for a potential buyer. Look back at my post and his replies... He became very defensive and even fired off a nasty PM to me. I didn't think my questions and concerns regarding this kit was out of line. One of these guys desperate to get boosted will buy this kit. Sounds like trouble! |

Do it. I had a similar situation with a member on the forum with some items I sold him. He changed the price once I explained to fellow members the actual cost he got it from me for. |

I know, just looking for you guys, we shall wait and see.

This is the thread he made in October of 2011 http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...500-miles.html
It appears he went in last night at 8:39pm and deleted everything. :bs: This is his forth ad for this kit. Look at his history. Lots to explain now OP! You got on me about "cluttering up your post". It's not cluttered anymore.... Now it's a damn mess! |
Yep, doesn't matter though, he's still using the same pictures from that original ad.
|
Alright I'll put my 2 cents in too :tiphat:
It is a problem with the supercharger that can be rebuilt and without looking at it, I'll take a wild guess. It probably ran hot and was either out of oil, or short of oil, and seized. I would say no warranty. The buyer would have to send it to Rotrex for a rebuild and it would probably be cheaper to buy a new one as I think this one is toast. But that being said, I'll giver a firm offer of $500 + shipping, just for the parts and I'll assume the risk of the damaged supercharger. I can rebuild it :happydance: |
Sketchy..... If the compressor was covered (or "possibly covered") under warranty then why wouldn't you try to send it in yourself?
I don't buy it you either tried to warranty it and they wouldn't OR you don't want to try cause your afraid it won't be covered..... |

sorry OP, but something about this just doesn't sit right with me |
even whith my crazy schedule I did call gtm and talked to sam, guess what he said...

I'll go $1K.. with $2500 to spend on parts to get it usable I think that's fair for a used kit with a lot of questions and concerns..
|
looks like OP has vanished..
|
Nah, still here. Just watching all of this.
You guys are like a pack of wolves on fresh blood. This is the 3rd time Ive had the kit posted, the other guy purchased the supercharger then found out it was locked up. I never knew it was. The orginal photos are still being used because the kit is still packaged in 2 boxes. Regardless, I'd simply like this kit sold. |

So I guess the op is too busy, even though i just got from home from work, and by public demand and plenty of time for the op, lets start with a picture of the box that he shipped the "NEW 500 MILE GTM S/C (USED) KIT" in that was crammed in with no packing and leaking oil , from some lady's P.O. box and overweight causing over $250(return shipping cost only available usps due to P.O Box) to go missing from my bank account....
Attachment 66745 Attachment 66746 Attachment 66747 After digging out the unprotected blower from the bottom, this is how I received it, couldn't even bother to clean it.. Attachment 66748 Attachment 66749 Attachment 66750 then that wonderful moment when i try to spin the pulley and its frozen solid:mad: and took a look at the compressor... Attachment 66751 then a closer look.. Attachment 66752 then I heard something snap(in my head) and lost my cool, but once I came to and managed to force off the compressor housing to see this.. Attachment 66753 Attachment 66754 Attachment 66755 Attachment 66756 Attachment 66757 Attachment 66758 also found some oil in the compressor housing.. Attachment 66759 Attachment 66760 Attachment 66761 Attachment 66762 long story short and a third party certified performance shop inspection letter, fighting with ebay and op, few months later and $250+, I finaly got my money back minus return shipping :shakes head:. Hopefully I helped clarify a little since to op is to busy and help you guys make a better decision, if you guys have any questions let me know. Night  |
