Does anyone do customized illuminated kick plates?
 

I've seen DIY threads but I'm not much of an electrician. Does anyone offer a mod service? I did a few searches but didn't find anything.

I want red ones. I could buy them and have them shipped directly to him if that helps. Not crazy about the orange.

They're easy as hell to install. But I looked at that DIY thread and that's probably not something I could do without screwing up.

Digitonium used to do them, and he's still here on the forum, but I can't convince him to start making them again. :icon17:

I also want a set with Red leds vs the crappy orange.

May I ask what people are willing to pay for the color change?

A set of plates is roughly 150, I can't imagine it being ridiculous

Me personally? My girlfriend dented the sh*t out of my passenger side one with her "hooker boots" and I am going to replace them anyway.

Since I'm going to replace them, might as well get the color I want.

I'm actually planning on doing this soon, I would think ~$50 plus shipping would be reasonable. Maybe $60 total? Anybody else wanna chime in?

I agree.. maybe $200/210 total for piece and labor before shipment..

I was just going to buy them and ship them to whomever is doing the mod. Any idea who that is or will be?

Well if you're not in a super big hurry, and digitonium doesn't respond soon, you can send them to me. I know HOW to do it, I just want to do my own first so I have the EXPERIENCE doing it, and you guys will be able to see my finished product.

Its probably a pain in the azz to switch colors, thats why its hard finding people to do it.

I hope she looked good while denting them at least :icon17:
