Im interested... i have a 09 370z base. Im not really an audio savy guy, so that being said.
I am looking to change my stock unit because i like the convenience of navi, and ipod ect. and I dont really care for loud music. Can anyone tell me if I can upgrade to this while keeping my stock speakers and maintain my steering wheel controls? Also, the condition of this unit, and fuctionality of it, as well as how user friendly this unit is?

your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks again

you can upgrade no problem. and you might need a module to use your steering wheel controls. go to any shop and they can take care of that..other then that the system is pretty nice and easy too use. GPS is quick and accurate 24/7

Yeah Im aware of that adaptor, even bestbuy can install that. My concern is the base speakers (non-bose) regarding the amperage.
Does it have bluetooth?

If you want your stereo to sound good, you will need better speakers, if you dont replace them, you're have a good deck with crappy speakers. Its as simple as that.

This actually will ONLY work with the non-bose from my understanding. There has been talk that the pre-out voltage needs to be 4v and these are 2 I believe. You are in a better situation than the Bose guys to pick this up at a pretty good price IMO.

Since I will willingly admit I am no stereo guy, I did have a full kicker set up in my 06 taco and LOVED IT (2000watts son! hahaha). My question is I happend to see someone throwing a set of polks in their z with tweeters. Do those door speakers typically cary enough base in them to sound better than stock without going with subs as well? Just wondering if this feat has been accmoplished by anyone else or am I going to have to get a full set again since they are only mids?
