^No problem. They were on the sport 19" Rays. The fit was excellent actually. I found the stock RE050As looked stretched. These are nicely flush with the edge of the rim.

I'm not sure I understand the relevance of the question given these are street tires, not R compounds. Here is a link to street tire break-in from TireRack: Tire Tech Information - Breaking In Your Tires
In short, heat cycling is something that is key for race compound competition tires but essentially heresay voodoo for street tires. And that's a conversation to have in another thread. If you're asking how the tires were generally driven for those 200 miles, I can tell you it was mostly leisurely highway miles. I had to drive back from TireRack in South Bend, IN to Chicago and then had them on the car a couple days before swapping to my snow tires. No track days, 'canyon' runs (unfortunately no canyons in Chicago), or any shenanigans with them. |
