if anyone just picked up an 40TH AE with red guts and wants to sell them please let me know. i want the seats and door panels

Ha, it will never happen. I'd suggest going to an interior shop and getting quotes.

I was actually thinking about this as well. I think the odds of me going to a shop and getting my interior dyed red is better than finding someone who would want to depart with their 40th interior.

I spotted a black Z with the 40th red interior. It was sitting in the mall parking lot around x-mas. The plates were from Maryland. I'm assuming he swapped someone out. It looked great but I imagine he paid a good bit for it.

You might be able to order the red seats from a Nissan Dealer. Go ask one of the forum sponsered dealers.

Buying OEM 40th seats from the dealer will cost $2500 per seat - because the seat assembly is sold in numerous different parts. The seating cushion alone costs $1800. The torso is $300. The headrest is $200. Plus tax. Plus shipping.

$1500 + your base seats, you pay shipping both way. still cheaper than aftermarket seats ( only 800kms on those seats, still smell brand new)

ilostmypill, so now that you no longer have the red seats and the 40th wheels, can I ask why you bought the 40th in the first place? Did you initially buy it just for the Quartz paint or have you just gotten sick of the color scheme on the 40th?

and to my knowledge they are just vents on the back that catch air when the top is off isnt it? its not a switch like heated seats
