I work in foreclosures. Market value is not determined by how much you need for the items you wish to buy, it is determined by what the market will bear. I see a lot of houses in foreclosure that also happen to be listed, at debt amount, even though debt is $200k above market. What someone wants for something and what it is worth are frequently not the same. |
