I don't see how you'll get anyone to go for this deal. You're better off buying the wheels yourself and then selling the Rays to offset the purchase price.

A set of used Rays in good condition only fetches $1200 or so.

Also, the Alcoas are butt fugly in person!

Im not sure if youre quoting regular Rays or Nismo Rays which are much harder to come by.... I appreciate your opinion but I think the Alcoa's will look awesome once powdercoted.

Gotcha, NISMO rays should go for a bit more, but I still think it's much easier for you just to buy the Alcoas now then sell the NISMO Rays once you take them off. MUCH easier.

I wouldnt have any place to keep them =P

Also the deal is open to negotiations... I was merely describing my ideal transaction.

I live in an apartment. I replaced the stock wheels on the previous car I owned and had to sit on the take-offs for a while... Literally, used them as furniture before I finally got rid of them.

I've got three sets in my garage, not including the wheels and tires on my cars. Modshack says I am a wheel whore. :roflpuke2:

Oh well. What can I say. :shakes head:

I know that feeling. At one point, my bedroom was holding my iForged's, some 5AD's I bought, and some old Enkei's I had...had to climb over them to get in bed...

you could totally make a bed out of wheels, 1 in each corner, one in the middle, a box spring and matress, boom. money wheel spent. 'yes that is a 3 piece forged bed frame wrapped in 275/35/19 bridgstone re-11s

In college I kept everything in my apartment living room. At one point we had my Honda 600 F4i, my buddies Yamaha R6, a tool chest, a body kit (my roomates celica), and 2 sets of wheels. You can live with a set of wheels sitting around for a short period of time. I agree with others. You will have a much easier time selling your wheels once you have already get your new setup together. Just my :twocents: Good luck with the sale.

Actually, I think he spent several thousand on his new wheels, but whatever, good luck.

Thats what I am called too. Right now I've got three sets of wheels for the 370, and then for cars I don't even own anymore, 2 sets of C6 wheels and two sets of 240Z wheels.

Jeffblue 09-20-2010 03:42 PM

i mean, talking about no name wheels here. Granted ALCOA is a huge company, but they are by no means wheel specialists. I'd rather buy from a company that caters to the automotive intudstry, specifically wheels, than the 3rd largest aluminium producer in the world.

m4a1mustang 09-20-2010 03:50 PM

ALCOA makes a bunch of wheels for Lamborghini.
