Sorry man. I'd been looking for one for about 3 days and they're impossible to find. Just got lucky on that one. I found two different listings on ebay yesterday, but they didn't actually have any and have taken thier posts down. Good luck with your search.

jbuzz 08-31-2010 02:27 PM

Yea I know, they took them down because I attempted to buy them just for them to tell me they dont actually have them.

NYBladeZ 08-31-2010 04:59 PM

hate to thread jack but why would you want one cobb discontinued them

HOOPZ 08-31-2010 10:08 PM

Its a good tuner. It has the capability of returning the stock map for trips to the dealer. It is still serviced by cobb, although they never offered any custom maps. And in my case, the shop i get service from, Jotech, is well versed in tuning the cobb ap. And since i have a custom tune on thier dyno, the ability to get premade maps is not important to me.

What he said:tup:

If there was a comparable tuner I would get it but I havent come across one.

Ive contacted several tuner shops in my area and they all tell me to find the Cobb AP and bring it to them to tune.

For those looking for the unit, Ive found a retailer with stock.

I enjoyed mine when I had my Z, its definitely one of the best tuning devices on the market IMHO, and even though they arent offering any canned maps, any shop that dyno tunes will know how to tune with the AP.

jbuzz 09-08-2010 01:26 PM

The unit actually come with 5 stock maps and 2 more can still be dl'ed from cobbs sight.

Im getting it in today, ill run the dyno feature on it and posts before and after numbers.

Just to let you know, UpRev also lets you go back to stock. It also flashes maps ridiculously fast, like under 10 seconds.

Also, being able to swap to different tunes on the fly (while in gear even!) using cruise control buttons is pretty sweet.

I just spoke to a tune shop by me who works on mainly Subaru's and they told me they could give me a Cobb AccessPort Tune. Can someone give me some info on this? I am unfamiliar when it comes to tunes for cars. Thanks.
