Caravan Part-out - Injen, Invidia, Forgestar, etc

*** Car has been SOLD with all remaining parts, nothing left for sale ***

As most of you know, I have a 3 month old daughter now :excited:

I was planning on getting a 3rd car to daily drive and be able to drive the baby around, but I've decided instead to sell the Z and get a nice daily driver. The Z will likely be easier to sell completely stock, so decided to sell all of my aftermarket stuff. Here is what I have:

Willing to ship:
- *SOLD* - Injen intakes, powdercoated daytona sunset orange metallic. price includes matching oil filler cap
- *SOLD* - Carbon Fiber B-pillars. Overlays, great shape, will include pre-installed double sided tape for easy install. price includes shipping to US
- *SOLD* - OEM nissan homelink auto-dimming mirror from touring package. price includes shipping to US
- $100 - Cadence 6.5" component speakers for front doors. Original packaging, used for a few months. price includes shipping to US

Local Only (North Dallas)
- $600 + stock rays - Forgestar F14's in matte black. 19x9+24 & 19x11+24 with 255 and 305 hankook ventus V12's. Tire wear has been even, all 4 are about 60%
- *SOLD* - Invidia Gemini exhaust with Titanium Tips. Great fitment, lightly used
- $200 + stock - *Pending* LED headlights, blacked out with pearl white shrouds and 6000k HID bulbs
- $275 - Eibach Springs and SPC camber kit with toe bolts. I would swap your front shocks with springs (as a coilover) for mine with the eibachs, and rears we can just swap springs. I have stock springs as well, so you will go home with eibachs and stock for springs. Camber kit will be removed and given to you uninstalled
- $400 + stock - Powdercoated brake calipers. I know the cost via Mike is $300+ $30 shipping, but factor in shipping your stock ones back for another $30, and installation and this isn't bad. It isn't worth it for me to go through the labor of swapping for cheaper. Would have to swap in my garage. Willing to ship ONLY if you can send me your stock ones, and I will swap out the brakes and send you the powdercoated ones.

Pm me if you have any questions.

fairladyZ34 07-28-2010 11:36 PM

congratulations on the baby girl! id take the intakes but they are the wrong color for me, GLWS tho :)

Caravanshaka 07-28-2010 11:38 PM

this color looks fantastic on black. If you've seen Mike's car, his calipers, wheel lips, and intakes are the same exactly color

fairladyZ34 07-28-2010 11:47 PM

im leaning towards a black and red theme tho, black and orange just reminds me of halloween and that nismo that those people molested

Caravanshaka 07-28-2010 11:50 PM

LOL, I remember that Nismo. :rofl2:

The powdercoating is red in most lighting conditions, orange under absolute direct sunlight and under the flash. Really hard to take pictures of what it actually looks like in person.

Mozen 07-28-2010 11:56 PM

For the headlights id be more than willing to trade but i wont be home for R&R untill September 15th or so give or take a day based on flights. Thats prob 2 long to wait :( but hey my leave is in texas, i would love to take a day and drive over and do the swap. BUT ive pmd ya. Would love to work something out!

Id also be interested in the F14s but my stocks are the 18" Touring ones :( Your lookin for the 19" Sport Rays right?

Jamaica 07-29-2010 12:37 AM

sad to see the car go but a new blessing in the world.

GLWS!!!!!!

JHuynh912 07-29-2010 01:09 AM

mann i would be all over this if i was in tx!

specZ 07-29-2010 01:40 AM

Interested in the mirror, would you have the install instructions? If so, I will take it.

racerxj17 07-29-2010 04:05 AM

Dibs on lights....any imperfections or leaks? I've done it three times in the past and was never 100% happy.... I hate being OCD. I can also ship em first....

Caravanshaka 07-29-2010 07:18 AM

Guys, got 6 pm's overnight, didn't expect that much, lol.

Here's the deal, I've got a forum member interested in buying the car as-is with all of the parts, and he said he'd let me know by this morning whether or not he will. As soon as he says yay or nay, I'll post on this thread and either close it or start shipping parts.

As it stands right now, I have the most questions about the headlights. No, I can't wait until mid-september, I would like to have the car sold soon. I can only ship if you are able to send me your headlights first, and I will return these in the same box, this is my current daily driver.

These are the people with first dibs assuming the car doesn't get sold with all the parts:

Homelink Mirror - BumbleZ PM'd me at 12:36 am, SpecZ posted on thread at 1:40 am. BumbleZ has first dibs, and I will see if I have the instructions in the original box still.
B-Pillars - 355890 was the only PM and has first dibs
Headlights - Mozen posted first, said he has to wait until september 15th or might be able to get a shop to pull his stocks and send them to me, going to give him a chance to do that first. Racerxj17 was 2nd to claim them, and can ship his stock ones first.

Regarding the headlights. All LED's are still in perfect working condition, the paint in both headlights still looks new. No cracks or anything on the lenses. I think 1 of the bolt holes on the drivers side headlight for mounting may have had an enlarged hole, but doesn't affect it. Also, the lens shows a bit of dust with the headlights on, but I have yet to see a set of headlights that doesn't (even MRworks headlights has that, see 2theeXtremes close up shots).

EDIT: I just re-read Mozen's PM regarding the headlights, and it looks like the car doesn't go into the shop until late August. Since I can't wait that long, it looks like Racerxj17 gets bumped to the first dibs spot.

Sibze 07-29-2010 08:10 AM

That would be great if you could sell the whole car!!! Looks great

Caravanshaka 07-29-2010 09:07 AM

DVS1Z has dibs on intake, with kielbasa about 20 mins behind him

edit, DVS1Z passed on it, Kielbasa now has dibs

FuszNissan 07-29-2010 09:22 AM

Those calipers are sick!

DVS1Z 07-29-2010 09:31 AM

neveucd 07-29-2010 09:55 AM

I'd drive from Houston to Dallas for the headlights this weekend, but I'm unsure of how they'd look on a PG with that white shroud, and I don't know how to take it apart and paint it over. womp womp.

Caravanshaka 07-29-2010 09:57 AM

ya, they'd look funny on a PG, especially since the white is actually the QAB pearl white, lol.

jnaut 07-29-2010 10:17 AM

are you willing to sell scp camber kit seperate?

Caravanshaka 07-29-2010 10:21 AM

I would really rather not. I may end up keeping the lowering springs on the car when I sell it just because it isn't worth the labor to remove the parts. If that's the case then the camber arms need to stay to save the tires.

Although, if someone local wants the springs only, i'd be happy to split them up.

DVS1Z 07-29-2010 10:26 AM

cant you keep the car for about 2 more months, then sell the parts i want!! Damn me for buy a jet skis and motor going out in the truck to pull them!!!! damn me!!

Caravanshaka 07-29-2010 10:30 AM

haha, if only it were that easy

Kastley85891 07-29-2010 11:41 AM

Family first dude, its the only way, bump for you and your great car / mods.

Caravanshaka 07-29-2010 11:44 AM

Thanks, Keith

Caravanshaka 07-29-2010 01:18 PM

FYI, still haven't heard back from the potential car buyer...hoping he lets me know soon so I don't keep all of you waiting. I apologize, but it would save me a lot of effort to just sell the car as-is if possible

Jeffblue 08-06-2010 09:05 AM

hey man, good luck with the sale, and congradulations on the growing family.

for the springs and camber kit? is that 275 + my shocks/springs?

Caravanshaka 08-06-2010 09:08 AM

springs and camber kit is local only due to the fact that I would want to swap your front coilover with mine so I don't have to pay a shop with a hydraulic spring compressor to remove the springs from the setup and put the stock ones back on. rears are no big deal as the springs aren't coilover style. I have my stock springs as well, so whoever buys it will go home with the eibachs installed, and a box with a full set of stock springs.

I might consider shipping at the buyers expense. Once my STI comes in next week, I could theoretically put the car on stands, ship the front coilover with rear eibachs and front stock springs, and you could return the stock front coilover. But that is a lot of shipping cost since you would be paying both ways and none of that stuff is light or small.

simota1 08-06-2010 09:11 AM

awww.... good luck with everything man... congrats on ur daughter :D

yea i understand what you mean. Lots of shipping cost. At that point, might as well just get them new. anyways, good luck, see you back in the sports car world soon enough!

Thanks, I picked up a 2008 WRX STI, so I'll still be driving something fun and definitely fast...just not a Z :(
