FS: MRWorks SE Headlights ***ONLY ONE EVER MADE***

Hey everyone,

We made this custom headlight for someone, but he literally fell off the face of the earth. We haven't heard from him in a couple months now. Long story short, due to the client not responding for nearly 2 months and with a 7 day warning, we need to get rid of this because we would like to have another set to do more projects rather then this just sitting around.

Absolutely nothing wrong with this piece, everything is already done so there is nearly no turn around time once we receive your stock headlights. We are selling this for a discounted price from our initial listing. PM me if your interested!!

WARRANTY: 1 FULL YEAR warranty on paint and condensation!
***Housing can be painted a different color code if needed, just PM me for details.

This is our SE series (Stealth Edition) in Monterey Blue. Everything from the landing strip to every groove on the inner housing of the headlight has been shaved off for a elegant and stealthy touch. These lights give a similar look to the corvette/360modena headlights that have the inner housing color matched to the body. However, the innerhousing can be painted any color, and LEDs can still be added for Demon Eye or Projector LEDs. We will only be offering this to 12 people a year (1 per month MAX) because of all the work/time that is involved in doing a setup like this and because of other projects/designs we will be releasing this year.

Let us know if you have any questions or concerns!! :)

I really wanted to know what these would look like so I took the time to photoshop it. Not perfect but I think you get the idea. I think this is what it is supposed to look like when its installed. Maybe the orange reflector is painted, i can't tell.

shabarivas 03-13-2010 05:37 PM

Marco_xyz 03-13-2010 07:45 PM

^^^Yes we can do this in any color including black, but we want to get rid of this in its original color (blue) if we can. Also, yes we can send you this with a security deposit and once we receive yours we will refund that deposit, but we need an extra core set first which is why we are trying to get rid of this!

The price is for an exchange for your core. All we switch out is the chrome inner housing. We can paint the shrouds other colors or keep it stock silver!

Jones Boy 03-14-2010 11:33 AM

Hmmm, I really like this idea. I was thinking going with black housings on my Monterey Blue, but maybe this would be a better way to go. Would the shrouds look best color matched as well? It's very tempting.

Marco_xyz 03-15-2010 07:32 PM

If your car has black accents maybe black shrouds? If not maybe all blue shrouds? Still for sale... got a handful interested but no one has pulled the trigger

Marco_xyz 03-17-2010 01:33 AM

ttt

Marco_xyz 03-20-2010 09:05 PM

Marco_xyz 03-23-2010 07:46 PM

shabarivas 03-24-2010 04:43 PM

Marco_xyz 03-24-2010 08:17 PM

the 600 will get the buyer this headlight housing INSTALLED into their original housing once we receive their lights!

so what is one supposed to do while you have their headlights? last time I checked driving with no headlights is hazardous and most likely illegal...

Have some patience?

I waited for two weeks to ship my lights out to California from Ontario and back. Now that I have received my finished product from MR Works it was well worth the wait.

I had the luxury of being out of town most of the time and I have another vehicle so I was ok, but I guess if your 370 is your daily driver you might be in a pickle.

4r3s 03-25-2010 03:14 PM

as a suggestion why dont you install them in a pair of headlights and have the buyer ship you their hls once they get the new ones. keep the price at 600 but require a deposit at the price of a new set of hls that the buyer would get back once you recieve the hls and deem them in sufficient condition. I think you would open your market up quite a bit this way to include those of us that only have one car.

Not a bad alternate suggestion to accomodate those who use their Z as a DD. I would certainly have thrown an extra 1000$ down as a deposit for this option.

Regardless I am very impressed with their service, very professional and always kept in touch throughout the process.

XwChriswX 03-25-2010 04:35 PM

I have no doubts their service/product is well worth it. But with my Z being my DD loosing my headlights for the time they need to rework them would not help me.

Maybe an idea would be for them to scavenge Junkyards for already crashed Z's and take their headlights out to mod. They send you the new ones, you get them installed and send back your stockers for the next customer, and basically you get a barter system going...

Thanks for the suggestion! We will have a core set available in a week or two and we are willing to put this set in a headlights and shipping out the whole headlight ready for installation if anyone is interested. Please PM me, First come first serve depending on a deposit.

Or do what I did.....purchase a set of lights yourself and send them to MRWorks? Once they ship the new modded headlights to you and you get those installed just send your old OEM headlights back to MRWorks and they'll even buy them from you and they become the next "core set".....worked for me.

whiddles 03-26-2010 09:58 PM

As long as MR Works don't get a poor set of headlights in return the core will work

^^^whiddles - Just to clear things up to everyone reading this...

Sorry I have not been active as much as I'd like to. Anyway, what we do is only touch the portions of the headlight that gets worked on. The core set is used so you have your vehicle with the least amount of downtime. This is what all the members here have been wanting! So we have been giving it to you all. Without focusing on many other different vehicles we have been working extremely hard to help everyone here on this forum to get the members what they want. If members want the option to go with Tony's setup and buy a headlight set for us to work on that is the best way. 2theextreme setup took us up to 72 hours on non stop labor for example, we have to drive 30 minutes to get paint work done, drillings, wire circuit paths, align l.e.d lighting, test light outputs, it takes hours, from opening and to resealing then closing verfiying everything is functioning as expected then a more few more hours to test condensation, along with shipment, and constant communication which is our number 1.

For those choosing to go with 2theextremes route we will buy yours back no matter what the condition as long as the interior is not damaged. The good thing we have done for you all so far was share components with our core set already for those who have had damaged headlights. We have repaired many members headlights so far who have had damaged cracking, hazing on and in the lens, along with a few tab repairs. The only portion that gets touched within our core is the inner housing portion you don't get our entire core set. Once your headlight is shipped to us and we recieved it. The day it arrives we immediately swap our inner housing in yours we use your original base, your original lens, screws, then our housing stays in it's condition the way it arrives to us. So you get to keep your headlights in the condition they are in whether they have rock chips, scratches, and damaged areas you get it all back.

We only repair upon request. And may I remind you after all the sets we've touched not one came perfect without rock chips. A lot of the members here don't use a clear bra. We have buffed out every set that has come through here and cleaned them thoroughly before re-shipping. A few times some headlights have even arrived to us packed in such a horrible condition and not even cleaned.

Marco has been doing a great job keeping me posted I come on every now and then but don't have enough time to post like right now. I'm on spring break as I have been quite tied down to so many obligations along with all these headlights and never get any sleep. We have many things that have yet been released and not posted. This SE headlight housing set was one of them as many members were begging us to do this??? We get multiple PM's from members who inquire and sometimes make member accounts just to talk to us on here it's very humbling and we thank you for it all. What really bothers us is when people asks us to do this and do that just to have us do something special and ask ask ask ask questions that turn into novels of replies from your typical sponsor me, can I get a quote, can you show me, " I want free" and so we make me it come to reality. We've put more time into our clients then ourselves sometimes loosing a lot and in the end after all is said and done it's the clients who were happy that we've the opportunity to work with had in the past the kept us going. We work extremely hard for you all with no complaints. We are typical car guys remember no robots here. Stay posted for future creations.;)

whiddles 03-28-2010 06:10 PM
