These are the 18" wheels and tires. They were on the car for 183 miles, before I put the winters on. They are in perfect condition. I'm asking $1,300 OBO shipped.

Supracrazy 02-16-2010 08:39 PM

Seriously 1300?

tbonesteak 02-16-2010 09:27 PM

lol try half of that.

frost 02-17-2010 07:42 PM

Damn, I've seen Rays going for less than that.

nogoodname 02-17-2010 07:50 PM

maybe 700 for them....... good luck with the sales

sm16 02-18-2010 07:18 AM

Obviously it sounds like I overpriced these. Honestly, I had no idea how much they should go for, but given that they're practically brand new, I assumed more than $700. The tires alone on Tirerack go for $235 a piece. How about $1,000?

dont lowball the guy fellas, the wheels w/o tires from the dealer sell for twice that, i'd say 1k is a good price.

Lowball? Here is a guy selling his Rays w/ tires for $1,150.

Just trying to give a brotha a heads up. It doesn't matter what the dealer charges. Something is only as valuable as what someone is willing to pay.

tbonesteak 02-18-2010 09:29 AM

yeah i'd say 700-800 is about market value.

I seen a set of Rays just wheels going for $800

The $,150.00 was the 'asking price.' I wonder what the actual sale price was.

"wheels", not wheels and tires, these tires go for $300+ apiece, i'd say $900-1k is a reasonable asking price, stop hatin!

Sorry, but 1k is overpriced.
Stock Rays (which are lighter but 19s) and tires are going for 1200-1300, 18s are probably 800-900 with tires max.

They arent lighter, they're 4 lbs. heavier per. I'd say $900 would be more realistic..

sm16 02-18-2010 07:33 PM

Ok, the guy selling the Rays for $1,150 also had them for 15K miles and the tires have 15K on them, which probably means they are practically done. I'm selling tires and wheels that were on my car for 182 miles - big difference.

Not trying to argue here, but if I only get $700 for them, then I might as well keep them and use these as my winter wheels and just try and sell the tires.
