To be honest, you're not gonna get much more than 700 buddy. Every single Z owner either has one of these or are getting rid of it to upgrade. It's literally the most "unwanted" setup possible for the 370. The person that buys this may buy it to replace their oem 18" tires after it's worn out then try to sell the wheels, OR they may want to buy it as a winter/track setup. 1k is a ridiculous asking price.

Seriously stop posting you are pulling **** out of your ***...you really believe that the cast non sport 18 inch rims weigh 15 pounds each?

Not trying to argue here, but if I only get $700 for them, then I might as well keep them and use these as my winter wheels and just try and sell the tires.

You will get much more if you separate them. The tires will be bought by someone that has the base wheels and doesn't plan on upgrading, the wheels will be bought by a sport owner that wants winter tires. Separated you will easily get $400+ for the tires and $700+ for the wheels. Find a friendly tire shop, they will separate them for you cheap if you bring them in loose.

Ummm, actually the stock 18s are a carry over from the 350z (slight design modification) and from the 350z they weight (depending on which year) from 24-29 pounds each. I believe only set of 18s every were 19-20 pounds and those were one version of the Nismo wheels they prodced.

No, im pretty sure these weighed 20.1 lbs w/o tires, unless my scale somehow read wrong, which I dont think is the case. Ok gentlemen, lets give this guy his thread back please. Sorry OP for the bickering.

theDreamer 02-20-2010 11:21 AM

But the weight of the 18s is a real question, if you have put them on a scale please post pictures with results in the reduction thread, so far we only have the 19s in that thread with only speculation on the 18s.

More info for the board, the better it will be. :D

I have a drift day coming up in March and will be switching my tires out to Gforce Sports, i'll do it then so we can put this debate to rest.

tjlazer 02-20-2010 02:15 PM

I agree with the OP. For $700, I'd keep them for winter setup. Im in a similar boat with my Rays 19" Mine have 300 miles on them. Not going to get raped trying to sell because some of you think they are worth under 1K. I'd rather keep them.

tbonesteak 02-20-2010 11:31 PM

someone measure the 18s already! i've been looking for this answer for a long time but nobody's documented it yet. personally, i say there is no way the 18s can only be 21 lbs. the enkei nt03s are 21 lbs and those are super lightweight.

Keep in mind that not only is the diameter less by an inch, the width of the wheel is also shorter by an inch, front and back. Dont worry bud, drift day coming soon and I'll be switching my tires out, i'll make a post for it. I have a set of the 19's and i'll get the comparative weights.

tbonesteak 02-21-2010 12:19 AM

haha ill hold you to that! ive been so curious about the weight of the 18s for a long time.

schrute 02-21-2010 02:29 AM

The Enkei OEM 18's are pretty light. I forgot to weigh them when I had the tires off but I will next time. Mine are powdercoated so that throws things off a little bit tho.

I do remember thinking they were about the same as the Racing Harts I was switching them out for at the time, and those are 22 lbs.

cantadaniel 02-21-2010 03:43 AM

keep them...than......
