Careful use of a sawzall and a chisel will also make quick work of it if you have those tools on hand.

I do have those on hand but I would prefer to use the tool made to do the job if able to do so. I have done jobs in the past thinking I can get away and use what I had on hand to save a buck and ended up paying more. I am about 70 percent success rate doing that but feel like I am about 800 in the hole at the same time. lol

I have the differential tool; don't figure I'll ever need it again. I'd be happy to send it to you. All I ask is that you cover the shipping costs. PM me if interested.

Man I wish u hit me up earlier. I ended up buying one and I am glad I did. That thing was the hardest even with the tool to get out.

Agreed--the tool takes an impossible job and makes it simply a PITA.

I may hit you up on that later. (if you still have it)

My understanding is this tool only works on certain subframes?

Couldn't remember if it was for the steel or aluminum subframe. (im assuming steel?)

Correct me if I'm wrong. Did it deform your subframe when you used the tool?
