Any Used Catback

College kid, not a lot of money to throw around right now. Appreciate any offers, don't have to be pretty just functioning. Thanks James

I've got a used Nismo exhaust I can sell you. Shipping will cost more than the exhaust tho.

Yeah I've got FI long tube headers, bassani X pipe and bassani resonators. And I custom welded it to an hks nismo muffler.

I'm ideally just looking for the the axleback part of the bassani but its hard to find so I might have to swap in an entire catback.

Or custom weld in some resonated short tails.

ever think about ordering from Bassani for the axleback? I have a Saclam axleback and ordered a Fujitsubo Y Pipe but deep down in my heart it would have been nice to get a Saclam Y pipe to get the whole CBE. Saclam they don't distribute to the US so I would have to get a trader/importer and it would have been expensive.

Yeah I tried that but I can't find them on any websites. It was a long time ago when it got put on.

Have you seen bassani anywhere? I know they make motorcycle stuff but....

Previous owner had to do something similar with quieting down the exhaust to meet track noise restrictions.

Sucks because I really like the way the full bassani exhaust sounds. The youtube videos are great for it.

Former Bassani exhaust owner here. Was extremely disappointed in how it sounded compared to the videos they shared on YouTube. Turns out that was a prototype and the final production piece used different resonators in a different layout that gave it a metallic “blatty” sound.

I’m the grey car with it in Youtube, the red car is what I thought it would sound like. Just wanted to weigh in with my experience.

What do you suggest I replace it with? Or maybe I can weld up an axleback?

Thanks for your input it helps a lot. Not many people have run it I don't think

I updated my review - at the time I was giddy about getting a crazy good deal from them on the system so I felt like I couldn’t slam them, but it was just an OK exhaust. For $1200 MSRP you can buy something much better.

Also based on your description of your exhaust above I have NO idea what your exhaust layout looks like so I don’t know what to recommend that would fit. But I’d go somewhere beyond Bassani regardless.
