Amuse R1 Titan Extra Exhaust (REDUCED PRICE!)
SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
Selling my Amuse exhaust. :( PRICE REDUCED TO $1900 + shipping. This is a steal guys. Exhaust needs to go. Bitter sweet. I've put my 370 back to completely stock and have been fortunate enough to sell the rest of my parts on Facebook groups, Craigslist, word of mouth etc. but this piece is special and pricey . . so I thought I'd reach out here. The exhaust was purchased from Bulletproof Automotive in April of this year. I have receipt and confirmation of purchase. I paid $3300 shipped. Its approximately 5 months old and has around 4k miles on it. The reason for selling is simply due to us saving as much money as possible to put down on a house at the beginning of 2017. So while I'm not selling my car, I have put it back stock and let go of most of the parts I could. My loss, your gain. I should note that this is a used exhaust. It has a minor scrape / ding on the mid pipe (see pictures below). I have cleaned it up although it barely showed signs of use. It is not perfect. It is not new. But it's in damn good shape for an exhaust that was actually installed and used. Could be more thoroughly cleaned to fanatic's standard. Exhaust has gold rings. Thank you! https://4-t.imgbox.com/YFvWR7Fn.jpg https://9-t.imgbox.com/fmXLD827.jpg https://2-t.imgbox.com/rmZP0CYv.jpg https://8-t.imgbox.com/SmlXREfd.jpg https://1-t.imgbox.com/QCxmzaGi.jpg https://4-t.imgbox.com/BJKKpwpj.jpg |
Bump!

Can this be used with a turbo system?
|
Absolutely. It's the mid pipe and mufflers. I would imagine your turbo set up would be before the Y?
|
Do you have any other performance parts for sale??
|
Other than 18" Motegi Traklites with tires, no.
|
Actually I was told that the titanium wouldn't be suited for high temperature as with a twin turbo set up so im gonna have to pass which sux cuz i really wanted this exhaust but good luck with the sale

I'm not sure how much merit is in that. I'm not a turbo guy though. Bump. |

That doesn't make any sense. What about all those gtr guys with titanium exhausts? Pass on it if you don't want that unique sound. I LOVE my Amuse. GLWS on this like new exhaust. Definitely low miles since your piping has barely changed any color. Mine is like a rainbow now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks for clarifying fellas. Bump.

The comment about the gtr's was my exact response but considering my source has the highest hp 370z in existence and he's coaching me through my build im gonna have to take his advice. Im gonna be stroking my motor to just under a 4.2 and using big turbos which will definitely be producing high temps which might be more than what this exhaust was designed to handle. Which sux cuz ive always wanted this exhaust. It's definitely the sexiest exhaust made for our cars. Again glws

Well I'm sorry but your source is wrong. See below - titanium has a much higher threshold for heat and also dissipates heat / cools faster. http://www.garelicksteel.com/pdfs/Me...mon_Metals.pdf So I'm going to have to call BS. Science and stuff, man. |
If I have the money, I would take it away from you like I robbed you lol..

Everything im reading keeps going back and forth...Obviously the melting point is way higher but the issue im reading is how titanium disperses the heat. I know there are gtr's with Amuse exhausts but im not sure if what im gonna be doing with the stroker kit and stage 2 tt set up would be pushing it. Although its not like it would be a daily driver...f*ck i dunno...i really want this thing. Could u post pics of the exhaust with a piece of paper with your forum name and date for verification please. Please dont take offense. This is common practice for someone who is new to the forum with your post count and rep. Not to mention its thousands of $

I was just telling my wife I'm torn between waiting for a used titanium exhaust to pop up or getting a fast intentions. I wish this was about 2 months from now when I should be getting an influx of cash..

Titanium is fine. the welds however will be the week point. I have had titanium exhaust on high heat exhaust cars and have broken welds multiple times. I think the source Nomodsjk was talking to was probably referring to the welds. not the titanium itself. Titanium is a great dissipator of heat however the materials used in filler for the weld can break under high heat. Regardless if the exhaust is post Y pipe there shouldnt be a problem however if he is going stroker and big turbo with a Y pipe then yeah there is a good chance he could have issues. A y pipe will cause restriction in his exhaust and hold heat.
Just so the facts are out there it isnt the titanium that fails is the welds. I have first hand knowledge of this and had two titanium exhausts break welds on me. It not typical and is usually in extreme heat situations. Any person looking to buy this will be picking up a great product!!! Out side of high horsepower builds this would be an excellent addition to anyones car! |

I'm going to have to call bs on the Titanium not being able to handle turbos... lol Sr-71 black bird one of the fastest planes in existence that flys at Mach 3+ the whole outer shell is made out of titanium the exhaust nozzles are made out of Titanium. engines dumps 3200 degree of heat on that Titanium.. point is this is BALLAR AF BUMP FOR YOU SIR!!!
