Have you checked auctions.yahoo.co.jp ?That's where all the rare stuff is. It's tough to navigate because it's all in Japanese but if you find what you're looking for a service called buyee can get it to you for a fee.

Hmmmm... Never heard of it.
But anything is worth a try.

A friend bought a rare shift knob off buyee last year and took about 4 weeks to arrive. Big ticket items are more worth it when factoring in shipping costs. He spent another 100 on shipping on top of item price. I never bought anything since 2005 off that site and had the help of a friend do it. They won't ship outside japan but buyee will.

I tried few sites but all sold out or they have it listed but when you buy.... few days later they email you saying top secret has discontinued the part.... you can only get it used unless someone has a brand new one hidden away.....
