Default 300zx

Hello guys, I know this isn't the 300zx forum but I'm already signed in on this one and im sure you guys have some knowledge on the 300zx. So please don't yell at me for posting about a 300. Anyways, I have a 370z and a 300zx, the 300zx is my old car so I took it out for a spin the other day and noticed a horrible exhaust leak. Long story short I fixed it but I have no idea what it actually is, I'll attatch a picture. Does anyone know what this piece is?

This piece is on the drivers side exhaust header, you can see the oxygen sensor below it so I know it's not that.

havent wrenched on a 300 in almost 10 years... but i believe that is the pipe where the EGR valve gets its exhaust.

That pipe goes to the EGR valve. Looks like you need to change the valve cover gaskets too.

If you decide to take it to a shop, call Doug at Crawford Z Car Service in downtown Nashville area. They've been working on my 240Z and other Nissans since 1987! They're also a Z club sponsor and work on many of the cars in the Nissan Heritage Collection from the Lane Museum.
