No you can't. A fiat against a z at the drag strip? Please. I don't really know why the few Z owners here do not think this is possible. Yes the mustangs are fast cars no doubt but the Z is a very quick car and with that being said our Z's are getting down there quicker but not faster. It's a drivers race as I said stock for stock and it's usually reaction time and launch that the Z excels in thus that .5 second advantage at the tree results in a win. So yea it becomes a drivers race between these two. The last mustang I raced ran a 13.1 to my 13.5 but I got the win. Hope this makes sense to those who don't race.

Reaction time doesn't change your et.....

My point was that if the reason you don't like a car is because it doesn't have rev-matching the only cars you are going to like are the 370Z, the new corvette, and a handful of used porsches. McLaren F1s and Ferrari 250 GTOs are lame.

Don't get me wrong, SRM is awesome but it's just a neat little techy add-on, nothing on which to base your overall opinion of a car.

That being said, if you become competent with hill-toe it does help in everyday driving.

Wtf is hill-toe? :rofl2:

Wait a minute I was reading MotorTrend last night and saw that the 2015 GT Mustang weighs 3,705lbs!

WTF our Z weighs 3,900+ with sports package!

Thats a lot of aerobics time and Diarrhea the Mustang must have!

Where did you read that?!? The 370z is much lighter than that.

Zoren 370 12-31-2014 10:04 AM

^ thats what I thought too. I might be mistaken I'll check the car when I get home. Does damn synthetic MJ are no good!

UNKNOWN_370 12-31-2014 10:24 AM

Late to the party but... When I opened this I was expecting an actual review. Not just a couple lame criticisms.
I myself am not a fan of mustang, but was hoping to read an objective reviews of pros and cons?

370z's are 3300-3500lb. The only way to know for sure is to put one on a scale, otherwise we have to go with manufacturer claims that are printed in magazines, etc.

The sticker inside the door of your car does not list curb weight.

Zoren 370 12-31-2014 10:59 AM

Ok so whats the one listed on the sticker on the door. If that is not the curb weight?

One of the pros would be the interior materials are a lot better and luxurious looking...no Fisher Price plastics.

It is a sort of maximum weight limit for the vehicle

Zoren 370 12-31-2014 12:16 PM

Oh I see...thats must have been I mistook as the curb weight.
Silly me. Thanks for correcting.

Mine weighs 3340 with about a half tank of gas. I have a scale at my work

Those of you who think this car is ugly, or has a crappy interior... youre either nuts or you havent seen/driven the 2015. I got the black leather recaros and they are one of if not thee nicest car seats I have ever sat in. The interior is every bit as nice as my 370z, and the electronics and connectivity package in the mustang blows my Z out of the water.. theres no comparison there. But hey, its 6 years newer also. Its also got these awesome like 15" 6 piston brembos in the front that are pretty nice. I could ramble for a good hour about the features this car has that my Z does not. But I am just being defensive about my new car here. I love my Z every bit as much, and the things it doesnt have, it doesnt need... and it does other things as well or better without.

No matter all the things my Mustang has.. A 2015 Mustang GT is NO replacement for a 370z. No way, no how. You simply must have both. I have no idea how i could possibly live without either of them now.

My springs will be here hopefully tomorrow so this thing can come in for landing.

Nice Mustang. Yes, I do not understand some comments on here describing the Mustang as poor fit n finish etcetc. From the reviews i have read it seems the Mustang is a very high quality car that drives really well and has that stonking coyote! I have come back to this forum after quite a bit of absence and it seems most of the members here I find quite annoying as they post /reply rubbish. Yours is the only post i have seen that is "normal/logical/does not deride".

Nick, with your last 2 sentences and comments, it sounds like you may have just fit yourself right into that annoying/rubbish category.

I agree with you that there are a number that do not post, normal/logical/does not deride comments, but from my experience on here, the majority of posters on this forum are fairly objective. Phunk is definitely a positive contributor here, but to say that his is the only post that is normal, I have to respectfully disagree.
