That's the same thing Scion does for all their cars that aren't on the lot. If you 'order' one, you have to put down a $500 refundable deposit. That's what I had to do back in '06. It wasn't that bad, but then again I had a price already known... so I can see peoples discomfort when it comes to not knowing, but if you've got the ability to put a deposit down without even knowing what it's gonna cost, I'm sure it's not going to break your bank... :ugh2:

where do you live? sales tax on an Aventador would only be around ~40k.... no where near the cost of a 911, or a GTR....

edit: you do have to pay tax on fair market value.. but I haven't found any info on cars and stuff being charged 42%+ taxes..

so federal taxes alone would be around 135 grand. so with state taxes i could see getting a gtr and a 911 depending on the state.
