Sweet! Am definitely interested in a boosted FR-S/BRZ. Either flavor is starting to sound tasty again :D

So, they want to compete with the Z now. BRING IT ON!!!!!!

Anyone else think that Toyota might go the supercharger route and Subaru might go the turbo route?
That would be an interesting rivalry. |

Dude, if this is true...mx-5 status is something very sexy. It seems the general reviews states this is a 2700lb car and not the proposed 2600lbs. Either way, it's still light to today's standards.

I think Subaru will release an STI version of the BRZ that has upgraded brakes + suspension goodies, and then a "Spec B" or something that will have a turbo and probably be priced around 35k. This might seem expensive, but it would probably be marketed as a limited run car -- and it would also most likely have extra interior goodies bits as well. |
