Also, that black one above looks pretty cool/clean. That drop makes it look soo much better. The front almost looks like the Amuse Vestito bumper.

I thought it was starting to look like the fujimura front bumper. :icon17:

Autoweek says under $25k

If sticker is under $25k then perhaps we could get a manual with an option or two for an invoice price of around $21-23k. Not too bad at that price range.

That would sell faster than they could build them

It would certainly make me think about it. It would be a very fun daily driver.

25K is still a little too much unless it comes well equipped. I was always hoping for closer to 22K. I do like the car though and intial reviews all seem very positive. I just hope they don't take forever to release EPA mpg and official U.S. specs and price.

But no place is going to sell invoice on this right away, with how much hype and 'young' ones want this they will pay the price up front.
It is the stories I heard when the 8th gen Civic Si came out where people paid above MSRP....for a civic.

Well that's why you don't buy right away.

Though I did buy the 370 when it came out right away. Thankfully it was when financial markets were crashing so I got a good deal. ;)

Same here, I had one dealership tell me no one will sell a Z below MSRP, I started laughing the whole way out the door.
I can see these quickly dropping in value, especially since the specs are coming out 'below' what people wanted and many are not going to settle for an 'almost' replacement car.

Subaru BRZ pricing starts at $24,000

Subaru BRZ pricing starts at $24,000
Journo-tweets from the Subaru BRZ's Japanese launch are offering up new insight on that half of the Subyota equation. Most specifically, pricing and options. The BRZ will reportedly start at around $24,000 and rise to $27,000 for the Limited model.
According to Twitter traffic, the BRZ will come in two levels of trim, the base-level — called, strangely, Premium — which includes navigation (yes, standard), eight-speaker audio, soft touch dash, limited-slip diff; leather-wrapped steering wheel (tilt-telescopic), shift knob and e-brake lever; six-speed manual; aluminum pedal covers and cruise control, among standard features.

The BRZ Limited model adds leather seats with Alcantara trim, fog lamps, rear deck spoiler, 17-inch rims and vented discs (16" front, 15" rear).

My Z had a sticker on it that said "$5,000 market adjustment."

The first number they came at me with was $43,000. This was for a 6MT T/S with no nav.

Needless to say I ended up paying a little more than $1,000 under invoice, which was a great deal back when they first came out.

The 5.0 was actually much more difficult to get a good deal on at the time, but I still didn't pay over invoice.

I'm going to have to check this car out -- it could be a very fun daily driver.
