Once again, you have proven your ignorance. Very few production cars are built for all out track application. Your fancy mustang will need plenty of parts replaced after repeated track sessions. A few key upgrades on the Z, and you're pretty much good to go. The stupidest one and most difficult to do is the fuel starvation fix, which you didn't even mention. Everything else is just a few hundred bucks and some basic labor.

Also, it's pretty easy to get the Z to perform like a mustang - add FI. Try making a mustang handle as well as the Z. That will take significantly more effort.

You have yourself a $70,000 nissan Z basically. like i said ask any real car enthusiast are they gonna spend that kind of money on a nissan(non GTR). I higly doubt it, they are either gonna get a used Corvette, GT Stang, used porshe, used GTR. many better options than buying a Z and turboing it.

to each their own... that's why they make different types of everything in life... the new mustang looks ok... i like the looks of the camaro... to me, the z is sexy as hell... and my personal preference is a 2-seater... would love a corvette and my dream is a viper but they're currently out of my price range... don't hate... just love what you love

I have about 45k into my car and would have no problem spanking a Vette, Stang, etc... There is such thing as a USED market you know?

If you are looking for a mod friendly car that makes big power with little investment, then yes I agree the Z is not for you.

Alright... I gotta get something straight here, so let's recap what's going on with this thread.

Much like the sky being blue and a bear ******** in the woods, a Mustang being considered gay on a Nissan Z forum surprises less onlookers than the end result of a demolition derby featuring a Ford Raptor versus a Smart car (resident Ford enthusiasts are busy walking off boners after my mentioning of a Raptor).

Fearful of the image of his dear Mustang and Ford brand, BASE MEMBER Kamzeelover, hailing from Laguna Beach, Ca (home of that one MTV show that had a bunch of whiney bitches on it - and most of them drove *SURPRISE* Mustang convertibles. Kamzeelover is here to challenge FPenvy to the PRESTO ELITE MEMBER title by challenging his opinion regarding a car that no one on this forum owns (and those that do got rid of the pieces of **** and got into another Z, use the search button).

Kam - I understand this sentiment completely. Most of us weary, lowly base members oftentimes confuse all these new acronyms like "MSRP" and "AGI". I believe you have done so here.

There was also a part in this thread where a Corvette was brought into the equation. I have no idea why, as no one is driving a Chevy right now at all - they've all been recalled and are sitting at dealerships getting fixed.

Since we're talking about ALL OF NISSAN in this context, apparently, we should notate that more people bought Velosters than Genesis Coupes, more people bought Fusions than Mustangs, and more people bought Foresters than BRZs. And more people bought Altimas than all of those other cars. BRO TALK.

It's where most Mustang drivers/enthusiasts go. I think I would start there too. "KamStangLover" has a wonderful ring to it.

It's where most VW drivers/enthusiasts go. The lounge. At the dealership's service center. Because check engine lights.

That's a terrible example. Why would you buy a Nismo if you're just going to go FI? Buy a base <$30K. After mods and FI, you're not even at the stupid Nismo MSRP price you keep quoting. No one but idiots pay MSRP for these cars. Just shut up and go away.
