Potential Golf R GTD

Not normally interested in VW news but I thought this was interesting. What do guys think 370 lb-ft of torque in a AWD golf feels like?

Ive never really been a fan of the Hatchbacks, but there is no denying that THAT much power in a little car is a lot of fun. Plus, with it being a turbo, just doing a downpipe, tune, exhaust, and an intake, you've got a monster! For not much $$$ i might add

Those numbers are just from a current engine that's in the euro spec VW I bet they can tweak the torque output to 400 for an R model!

Either way, they're still pretty exciting numbers! VW has always been known for being able to get a lot out of a little. That 2.0 Turbo that they put in all sorts of cars could easily crank out 450-500hp with a turbo swap and a little tweaking.

Well if they keep all the nanny aids on there as they are on the regular golf r then it will suck just as bad if not worse.
