Worst site I've ever been on. Meatspin.com is a better site than that. Man it's making me reluctant to leave the Z!

It's ******* ridiculous, even the EVO forums are better.

iwsti.com exists to make NASIOC look better by comparison.

I finally got to see an STI in person tonight. A sale man from Audi was trading in his plasma blue 2014 with 1800 miles on it for a 2015 white STI.

I will say that it does look much better and more aggressive in person. I'm digging it. However, I test drove a 2011 STI sedan almost a year ago and was not impressed with the power so I'm guessing this will be about the same. It should really really have 350-400hp stock at the crank to appeal to more people like myself.

When you drove it, did you put it in "sport sharp" mode and disable the TCS? It makes a huge change in the character of the car. The power is still not overwhelming, but the throttle response is worlds better. And with a proper launch, the awd springs you forward very quickly. It's also got shorter gears and a lower top end than the z.

I was doing 30 and 40 rolls down Metro Pkwy with the sales man beside me lol and yes, Sport Sharp mode.

Just checking. Some folks drive it in regular sport, and most salesmen lack the knowledge to point their customers in the right direction

Yay, it's as lame as every other lesbomile I see every two seconds in Colorado.

I was reading Car and Driver and they had the segment "Old vs New", putting brand new "lesser" cars up against the top of the line equivalent for an older model, 86 ferrari vs new C7, etc. 2014 WRX had a 0 to 60 time of 4.8 seconds, 1/4 in 13.6, .98g skidpad. They tested the Sti, same issue, at 0 to 60 in 5.1 1/4 in 13.8, the skid pad may have been slightly higher, i forgot. I like the looks of the WRX better too.

Yup, 2014 wrx was faster 0-60. For the 2015 wrx this is not the case, which I assume is due to gearing.

I'm still interested in the new STI, they basically improved everything aside from the engine and kept the car at the same price point. If I had time to wait a couple years before purchasing an AWD performance car I can use all year around (sadly I don't) I would definitely see what subie does to the STI in the coming years.
