That would have been a little rocket in that light Mx-3. I had the j-spec KL-ZE in one of the Probes I owned. This was really good up top compared to the US spec. Would have been a ton of fun in the MX-3

hell yeah! 200hp in a 2600lb car would have been great. I think the j-spec motor had 35hp over the usdm on the topend?
