Yeah, other than meets or for fun I won't be driving my Z very much anymore

I have the Panda for my daily duties

Dunno if I can keep my mileage down to only 1k. ZdayZ will rack up most of those miles alone.

In other news I have yet to find a name for my Fit. But nevertheless it is getting tinted today. No more fishbowl and hopefully cool down the interior from sitting in the parking lot all day at work.

Nice, tint was a definite must for me too.

I also bought this thing which helped keep the car alot cooler too when combined with my tint

Amazon.com: Basix Magic Shade Super Jumbo Sunshade (Styles May Vary): Automotive

What shade of tint are you going with?

Yep I ordered that shade and the in cabin air filter last week. Im sure it still has the factory one from back in 2010 in it. Thanks for doing the research for me ahead of time. Now just lend me your SSR's  I promise to take great care of them.

I was debating between 20% and 15%. During the daytime I could of gotten away with the 15% since the front windshield is measured in acres and lets so much light in. But I decided on the 20% all around just to not attract too much attention from rookies out their wanting to do routine traffic stops for minor infractions. I think it came out pretty good.

That looks great, totally transforms the look of the car.

Good luck getting my SSR's from me, I have always wanted the Type-F's but I wasn't willing to sell the NISMO's on my Z so the Panda was the perfect platform for that :icon17:

I must say though, if it wasn't for my SSR's I would be rocking a set of 17" Matte Black Enkei RPF1's for sure, what do you think of those for yourself? :)

kenchan 09-06-2013 07:55 PM

looks good on the tint. i have 20% on the rear side windows and rear. :) i left the front sides and windshield stock.

the tint's great cause i dont need to use the cargo cover any more. my wife keeps black cloth just in case she needs to park it in an area prone to vandals near the city when she needs to carry her client's computers. can't see anything inside the car. :D

Haha you read my mind. If I upgrade the wheels in the future those are on my list or the RS055R's. Have to see what happens there. I just bought this and wheels for the Z so I'm done for a while. Tint was the last thing I'm doing this year besides attending Z Nationals.

kenchan 09-06-2013 08:05 PM

RPF1's look great on the GE's imo.

speedfreek- are you keeping the pin stripes?

Haven't fully decided. Think I should lose them?

I ended up going 25% rear and 30% front

The tint is perfect on my car and if you combine them with the door visors it really helps to keep the sun out of my eyes when I am on the highway driving home from work

I understand completely, it can get pricey to keep both cars modded.

Lucky for me I have met all of my goals for both cars so now it will be just little stuff here and there.

I think the stripes are pretty cool and would really pop once you get aftermarket wheels.;)

BTW, David I would really suggest this Chemical Guys stuff for hiding any interior scratches

Chemical Guys TVD_101_16 Natural Shine Matte Interior & Exterior Satin Shine Dressing (16 oz)

I have some scratches from the previous owner and this really helped to hide them and really bring back the luster of the plastic panels
