My hometown orchestra is raffling a 2017 Corvette Stingray, with proceeds going to youth music education.
The entry deadline is November 28th, with the drawing held on December 10th.
A max of 999 tickets will be sold. If at least 660 tickets are sold, the auction will occur.
State and federal taxes will be paid.
Thought I'd post here in case anyone is interested.
This organization helped me a lot when I was in school, so I want to give back.

It was over 600 as of Wednesday. I spoke with the coordinator Monday and she said they definitely ARE giving the car away.

The original criteria was that they needed to sell a minimum of 660 to a max of 999. I think they may have dropped the bottom number recently, but she definitely told me that the raffle would happen.

The deadline is tomorrow. And yes. It is very legit.
I was in a part of this organization when I was in high school, which was 35 years ago. They have all of the proper licensing to have a raffle in Indiana.
