I haven't gotten it from a BRZ yet, but I've gotten it from old 240s and Integras. Seriously, just make your way to Wal-Mart and leave me alone.

You gotta think the whole time he was racing you, in his mind, he was wearing that boxer out. I am sure he felt accompolished when he got to wherever he was headed.

Just roll down your window and point and laugh at his prius tires they hate that. That is if he isn't one of those who changed his tires out on day one.

LMAO!!!

Honestly, I understand the "I can push my car to the limits more often than you"
But I enjoy it in REALLY shítty cars like my ex's Yaris, damn it was SOOOOO fun to drive, it's a POS, but fun... And if I wanted a car like that, I'd get a Ford Focus. I had a regular hatch back one for a week as my car was in the dealershit, and while it may be FWD, I handbrake turned that son bítch at every other turn, and MAN OH MAN it was a fun car!

For me, just please for god sakes, don't sell the FRS as a true sports car... $25k is great, but 200hp... Boxer engine... No... My '98 and '01 Toyota Avalons' had better 0-60's

It really is the new Miata, which is ok... I guess... And I'm happy it kicked the tuner market into overdrive... But just be prepared to see a lot more "yobbos" as they say on Top Gear

I shop at Walmart too!!!

On my way to Walmart I had this REALLY good looking guy trying to race me... In his Versa... With 3 people in it...
BUT!!! It had a carbon fiber hood

Wrapped carbon fiber

I lazily drove off and he couldn't keep up to a dizzying speed of 45~

speedfreek 02-28-2013 09:28 AM

I normally only get CTS-V's and Honda's trying to race me around here. The CTS-V's are funny I act like I engage just for a second. Then they waste all their gas when there was no race to be had. That has to burn a little bit haha.

Agreed. the only difference between a BRZ and a cheap FWD manual car... Donuts.

Mazda 3's in manual are crazy fun. $17,000 Focus St for 25k will give more torque and will feel more ballzy throughout the range. Chevy Sonic Turbo. Kewl lil whip to destroy. lol
The Z offers way more. I don't care how high our center of gravity is by comparison. Our cars offer real sports. BRZ's offer sporty fun.

I'd rather buy a base manual z for $33k than a loaded BRZ for $30k

I also buy some stuff at Wal-Mart, but not car parts. I assume everyone knew that was my implication.

I love (British) Top Gear, and I like Chris Harris's reviews, mostly. But, Chris Harris should be paying royalties to Clarkson.

I just think Ricer Flyby's are funny...
In my 370, I was going 78MPH on the freeway and this Maxima ricer flyby's me with the hazards on at like 120!!!
What the F am I going to do?!?!?! Yeah, let me give chase on the 405 at 2AM at 140MPH to race you... LOL

I did a ricer flyby in my Maxima to an Integra that HONESTLY, had no power, just had a broken rattle can muffler, and the guy tried to race me!!! I was laughing my ÁSS OFF, I just did it to poke fun at the guy (and no, I didn't race him... There's a time and place for racing, but I was just messing with the guy)

Same thing happen into me last sunday morning, but i was going 80 in the fast lane in 7th gear cruising, a murdered out Mazda 3 was coming at a high rate of speed saw him in my rearview mirror, heard him coming too, loud aftermarket whiny exhaust, he passes me up then cuts in front of me real hard, so hard half of his car was in the shoulder lol, i had already reduced my speed to about 70 when i saw him coming i knew what was up. He did all of that and then made a hard right to catch the next exit which was congested. :rofl2:

JungleZ 02-28-2013 09:54 AM

Didn't clarkson hate on the z to? British are brutal

edub370 02-28-2013 09:57 AM

Had a brz try to show my stock looking volvo s70 t5 what was up on an entrance ramp... saw him come flying in my rear view (looking to do a ricer fly by), let him get almost even with me, then i dropped a gear and let him hear what 18psi and 310lb ft. sound like from an inline 5...

the look on his face from getting walked by a volvo... priceless

those brz's may be every car reviewers wet dream, but on the streets, those are just the new whipping boy for eveyone

I feel for you, man. I put up with some of that when I had my Z. Now, I have a Civic Si and you wouldn't believe how the young kids in thier Subbies and riced-up whatevers are bugging me.

Hey, I bought the Si as a daily commuter car. Yes, it's thier sport model. But I don't drive like an 18 year old. And I don't go looking for trouble. But boy, does this car attract the kids.

Two different cars.... same outlook with moronic drivers...
