What? You are sadly mistaken. The Viper has always been a great handling car. And horrible transmission? The T56/Tremec tranys are some of the most reliable, bulletproof gear boxes out there. I'll agree with you on the average brakes. Prior to 2001, the Vipers didn't have ABS and braking was definitely their shortcoming.
