Well, we got to go back today and she got to drive her Audi. She loved it, but one small disappointment was that her driver coach wouldn't really let her go as fast as she wanted. I think maybe he was a little nervous, because she doesn't seem like a car girl. So maybe he felt like he had to make her take it a bit slower so that they didn't crash and die or something, I don't know lol. She topped out at just under 100 mph, but the main thing is that she had fun.
After her drive we were talking to the instructor and I told him I wanted to come back and drive the Superleggara soon. He let me sit in it to see if I would fit, which I barely did, so I'm not sure how that will work with the helmet on. But holy crap! So much carbon fiber interior in that thing, it was super sexy. I'll post up pics and a video of her 7 laps in a bit! |

6'3", 210lbs. That car would comfortably fit a guy that's 5'10"-6'0".

Very nice! Drove the LP560 before, awesome car. R8 I never really liked, although haven't driven the V10 version.

Just under 100mph? That sucks that he didn't let her do more. I managed to get mine up to about 130mph. That was the best I could manage. A professional driver probably could have gotten another 5-10mph on the course out here. Like you said, at least she had fun. And yeah, the superleggra does have a lot of CF; pretty nice car.
